Joseph Ellsworth Hadley age 88 of Brigham City, died 1956. Mr. Hadley was born Aug. 19th 1868, in East Lanesboro, Mass., a son of Thomas E. and Elizabeth Griffith Hadley. When he was 6 years old the family came to Brigham City where he was reared and educated. On September 5th 1894, he married Dagmar Rasmussen in Brigham City. They later received endowments in the LDS Logan Temple, Mrs. Dagmar Hadley died in 1947.
He was formerly employed at the old Brigham City Cement Plant and later moved to Roy convalescent center. He was a member of the LDS sixth Ward High Priest Quorum. Surviving at the time of his death were three sons and two daughters, Irvin Joseph and Junius C. Hadley, Mrs. W. Mable Hadley Wood. Mrs. Jennie Hadley Skeen, Lyle Thomas Hadley, 14 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren.

Erv ran the White Way barber shop in Ogden Utah and latter moved to the basement of the Hotel Ben Lomond. Nearing retirement he moved again up on street level of Washington Blv. near 25th street and barbered on weekends untill his hands got to shaky to cut hair. A customer of his got up and walked out of the shop. He came home, through his tools against the wall of his bedroom and that was the end of his career as a barber.

Dagmar Rasmussen Hadley, 78, wife of Joseph Ellsworth Hadley, died in her home in Brigham City, Utah, after an extended illness. She was born Sept. 27, 1868, in Copenhagen, Denmark, a daughter of Wilhelm G. M. and Henrietta Lever Rasmussen. Coming to the United States and making her home in Brigham City in 1892. She was married to Mr. Joe Hadley Sept 5th 1894, in Brigham City, Utah. She had 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, a sister Mrs. Valborg Wheelwright, and a brother, Karl Wilhelm Rasmussen, Jacobine Christine Rasmussen.

Lung Cancer caused by cigarette smoking.
Mr. Hadley was born June 28th 1904, in Brigham City, Utah. He was a son of Joseph E. and Dagmar Rasmussen Hadley.
On June 3, 1924 he was married to Lula Celestia Warren daughter of Elihu Nathan Warren and Mary Priscilla Bailey on 3 Jun 1924 in North Ogden. She died on 16 Dec 1970.

Lyle T. Hadley of Bountiful, Utah died at the age of 61 of Cirrhosis of the liver brought on by alcaholism. He was born January 30, 1907, to Joe and Dagmar Rasmussen Hadley. Married Virginia Day august 1, 1949 in Bountiful, Utah.
Surviving at the time was: widow, son, and daughter by a previous marriage, Mrs. Ted, Peggy, Karavinis, 4 grandchildren, brothers sisters Irvin, June, Jennie Skeen.
